Maple Bread Pudding

Ingredients

  • 7 slices bread
  • 3 c. milk, scalded
  • 2/3 c. maple syrup
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. raisins

Method

Break bread into pieces in a buttered baking dish and pour scalded milk over it. Mix in the remaining ingredients and bake for 1 hour in a 350 degree oven. Serve hot with thin cream or whipped cream. Serves 8.
