Maple Date Nut Bread
Ingredients
- 1/4 c.butter
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 c. raisins
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. pure maple syrup
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 1 tsp. hot water
Method
Combine all ingredients in order given. Pour into greased loaf pan and allow to sit 20 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
